Spring Wreath

I always have something on my door that matches the season. Last year for spring I made this little beauty, and I still love it. But my door is brown and most of the nest is too, so I wanted something more bright.

I ran across this Little Project at on She's Kinda Crafty and I fell in love! I wanted mine to have smaller ribbon for two reasons.... I have tons of bring spring ribbon already and I wanted it to have more variety. So I hit up Michael's and Hobby Lobby to get my supplies. (Thank you Hobby Lobby for always have ribbon 50% off when I need it!)

Supplies:
Ribbon- In total I probably used about 10 rolls at 9 yards a piece. Cut into 4-6 inch lengths.
Wreath Form
Stapler
Straight Pins
Patience!

I cut all my ribbon pieces and started stapling. I created a loop and stapled about a 1/2 inch from the bottom. (Note: She's kinda crafty stitched with a sewing machine instead of using a stapler, the bottoms of the loops. I tought this would take longer than a stapler. In hindsight it would have been much faster. Next time... using my machine). Then I started pinning my ribbon loops in. Do this in different sittings or you will get frusterated. Then I tied a ribbon on the top to hang and done! I am so happy with it I am going to make one for fourth of July and Christmas. Next time I make one I will take step by step picture. Oh and hot glue might be more secure. More things to try!

Happy Spring!!
