Mother's Day

I celebrated my first mother's day with her here. I guess technically I was a mother last year, but it's so much better having her here! I love that I am here Mama!

I normally don't add blinking pictures (trust me there are plenty!), but i had to post this one. Here's why: The doering's (my mom's family) all BLINK in every picture. I do it all the time. Trying to take a picture of my mom and I is so hard! I think Brooklynn has inherited this trait. Poor baby. She is doomed to a life of crazy eyes in pictures.

Nate bought Brooklynn a new outfit for Mother's day. I love that!

Easter

We had a great Easter. I bought the Paas q-tip coloring and let Brooklynn "draw" on the eggs. We went to our church for Easter service then went to Nate's mom's house and then dinner at my parents. Brooklynn wanted to be awake the whole day and not really nap. Too much going on and she didn't want to miss it! Despite her sleepy behavior we had a great day!

Swimmer!

I think it is safe to say that our girl is a swimmer!
