So I am terrible at blogging about our little girl. Well I am terrible at blogging in general. She is now 8 whole months. Less than 4 months away from being one. How is that even possible?? A lot changed for this little one this month and I feel like she is no longer a baby, but a little girl!
- She officially started crawling! Yes there is a video, I will try and post it!
- Brooklynn got two teeth! They came in a week apart. Both bottom. She bit mama a bunch but now has them all figured out and knows if she bites she doesn't get more milk.
- In the process of crawling has started to try and stand up on her own. She can pull up with your hands or on items like the couch, but so wants to learn to stand and walk on her own.
- She is more timid about men lately. Even Grandpa. She just isn't super sure about her mama not being right next to her.
- Brooklynn has become a mama's girl lately!
- She loved the beach! Tried to eat sand any chance she got!
- Daddy likes to do things with her like the carosel. She loved this!
- She now eats some meats and protiens. We are still trying different ones. SO here is an updated list of the things she has tried lately.
- Chicken, Pot roast, potatos, pasta, eggs, cheese, plums, yogurt, peaches, cottage cheese, toast.... basically anything mama will give her!
- Brooklynn will sit up in her crib when she doesn't want to nap. Not as cute as it seems.
My goodness this year is going by way to fast! We love her so much and each day we love her more. She is doing so much lately! What a smart baby we have!
- She figured out how to wave hello and good-bye! This is my favorite. She gets so proud of herself too. We love this!!
- She started swimming lessons! She did great and was so tired afterwards!
- She only wants to sit and play, not lay on her belly anymore. This means she is content sitting and playing with toys on her own, as long as we are close by.
- She is so close to crawling! She gets on her knees and rocks. She also pushes herself up to push up position a lot. Its pretty cute!
- She had pictures taken for Boon Inc. They make baby products and their headquarters are in Phoenix. She did great, such a smiley girl we have!
- We lowered her crib mattress because I think she is going to pull herself up anyday!
- She loves to jump in her jumper! Even if she fusses she keeps jumping!
- She has had lots more foods this month! Parsnips, Beets, Papaya. All new and different foods.
