Wow time sure is flying! Our baby girl is already three months old already. Here are some new updates about Brooklynn.
- She rolled over! Five times actually. Twice right after her shower with just a diaper on. Then three times with clothes on. She gets to her side and then just rolls over. I love it. Still trying to catch it on video.
- She is sleeping 9 hours a night on average. This is amazing!
- Brooklynn smiles and laughs all the time. She is such a happy easy going baby.
- We put her in the nursery at church for the first time two weeks ago. Mama missed her so much!
- After being in the nursery she then got her first cold. Not cool! Poor thing.
- She has started drooling more. Not sure why.
- She had her first emergency room visit. She had a rash and this weird weezing breathe. We were advised to take her to the ER by her pediatrician on-call nurse. They found nothing wrong with her at all. She actually smiled through the exam. They think it might have been a delayed reaction from her vaccines or heat rash.
- She loves to shower. She is so calm and relaxed for a while after. We shower her every night now as part of her nighttime routine. We shower, eat and then read and pray.
- She loves to stand up like a big girl. She locks her legs and you just have to hold her belly. She gets so proud of herself. It's way cute!
- She laughs after she sneezes. I don't know if it tickles or its a funny sound or what, but she giggles after every sneeze.
- Brooklynn eats about 5 ounces a feeding.
- She doesn't like to ride in the car lately. I think it is because usually when we are leaving she is getting tired. She fusses and then usually cries herself to sleep.
- We brought her to her first funeral. I hope this is only one she has to attend for a long time. She did great though. Except for the blowout in her adorable outfit right before the service started.
- She sleeps best when she is swaddled.
- Brooklynn doesn't like to be on her tummy still. Hopefully with more tummy time she will start to like it.
Brooklynn is the happiest baby we have ever seen. We feel so blessed to call her ours!
In the pictures she is wearing the tutu Nate gave her for Valentine's day. I know this puts her three month pictures 3 days behind her three month mark, but she was so sick on friday she looked terrible. (Her poor little eyes were all red). Forgive my tardiness.
